Annette Funicello (born Annette Funicello) was an American actor, performer and singer. Most famously, she was one of the Mickey Mouse Club's "Mouseketeers". As a teenager She began her journey as a singer and was renowned for the hit song "Tall Paul" as well as "Pineapple Princess.' She was born in Utica and with Italian immigrants, Annette was a shy young girl. In her quest to achieve a successful career in entertainment her first step was acting and dancing. She gained fame in the 1950s when she was a part of the "Mouseketeers". Annette's "Disney" persona was discarded as an adult when she was able to play adult roles. Most notable was her role as the pioneer of the concept of a beach party. The actress was featured in films such like How to Stuff a Wild Bikini, Pajama Party, and"Beach Party.
