Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid film critic who reviews Z-graded films, mostly in the horror and martial arts genres. Her style and method are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action movies and has a fascination with the morbid. The reviews began in late 2009; when she began to gain some recognition (under her old name, Obscurus-Lupa) Allison Pregler subsequently became part of the family at Channel Awesome. She continued to be a participant on the website from January until the beginning of 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents changed into Movie Nights. Additionally, she hosts two podcasts through her channel, both of which cover the Charmed franchise, and they both co-host with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Videos of her are available here and here. Find her on Tumblr as well as Twitter and Instagram. Are you bored of Allison? Ninja the Mission Force has her on a roll in her role Interpol Ninja Cheetah. Brad Jones' film Jesus Bro! also starred her. as well as appearing in his show Midnight Screenings typically reviewing terrible film for children or RiffTrax live shows in addition to the occasional adult comedy (including of course Baywatch (2017)). After reviewing films in 2009 the actress gained popularity in the forums of Channel Awesome. Before joining the official family consisting of Channel Awesome reviewers, she became popular. She has appeared in countless Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She was a part of Channel Awesome's Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker, and she would be seen on numerous episodes of The Nostalgia Critic.
