Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen, a Vietnamese American businesswoman, lives in Orange County California. I have a lovely fiance called JP along with a very unhappy father Henry. Many people recognize me as @annephung on Instagram and I write about my life from ups to the downs. When I was just 1 year old, my family and I immigrated into America. If not due to the dedication of my parents, I wouldn't have been here to share the journey with the world. In order to give them the chance to have a prosperous future, I focused on my goals and worked hard to achieve it. It was my plan to attend school, graduate and get an excellent job. Then I wanted to have a family and a wife. That was my ideal of what it would take to be successful. But the reality of life changed my thoughts. The money and the status of my work did not make me happy. I was convinced that I wasted my life for the opportunity to earn a salary. My passion for fitness and my passion for socializing with others led me to discover my dream job as an instructor. The year 2014 was the year that I established my company and I will celebrate my 7th year anniversary by 2021. There are few Asian females working in the field. It is my goal to be a positive influencer within the field to offer quality coaching to empower people to live a more healthy and happier person by establishing the most sustainable life that meets their individual goals and needs. Additionally, I aim to motivate others to follow their dreams and goals so that they can achieve what they would like to accomplish. While my professional life was taking off, I experienced the most devastating loss in my lifein the death of my mom. She won her eight year battle with Scleroderma and is resting in Heaven and is with me in my thoughts and my heart all the time. The lessons we learn from life are often hidden from us yet they can prove very useful. The loss of my mother affected me greatly and I believe she gave me a second chance in life. It was the Tet/Lunar New Year Day when she died. It was her time to begin her new life, and I got my second shot at a fulfilling and happy life. As I approach my 30s I am awestruck by the feeling of being alive and in the moment. It's not like I just exist anymore. As I share the story of my experiences, it's to ensure that other people are able to relate to my experiences and thoughts. To know that they're not the only ones. Also, that there exists true love. Also that therapy is necessary and is not uncommon. Finally that health is your biggest wealth. I pray that you will live life fully and that your final resting place is not a regret, as that's the only thing you can count on during this lifetime.
